North Texans dealing with reality on the tube tonight

rphilpot@star-telegram.com

The View: The morning gab fest does this week in Vegas, making its third visit to Caesars Palace. 10 a.m., WFAA/Channel 8

American Gladiators: North Texas sees double on this show tonight, as Dallas’ Ally Davidson does battle in the women’s competition — and her husband, Jeff Davidson, does his thing on the men’s side. 7 p.m., KXAS/Channel 5

The Bachelorette 4: North Texas was well-represented on this series this season, as well, but only Dallas’ Jeremy Anderson has made it to the final four. Tonight, "Bachelorette" DeAnna Pappas comes to Dallas to meet Anderson’s family. 7 p.m., WFAA/Channel 8

Nashville Star: More North Texas on NBC, as Arlington’s Melissa Lawson — who was in the bottom two last week, but didn’t deserve to be — gets to perform for another week. 8 p.m., KXAS/Channel 5

Conversation With Bill Lively: KERA’s Lee Cullum chats with Lively, the president and CEO of the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts. 8 p.m., KERA/Channel 13

Heavy Load: This documentary follows the titular punk band, which is described as a British answer to the Ramones. The twist? Half the band’s members have learning disabilities. 8 p.m., IFC (Charter Channel 261, Time Warner 253, DirecTV 550, Dish 131, FIOS 385, U-Verse 797)

101 Cars You Must Drive: Last Comic Standing alum Alonzo Bodden hosts this new show, which "takes a comedic look at all things automotive." The 101st-ranked car? A 1958 Edsel Pacer. 8 p.m., SPD

I Love the New Millennium: And I love melting my brain to VH1’s cheeky pop-culture retrospectives, but couldn’t the network have waited just a couple of years to sum up the whole decade? This eight-part series (two episodes air nightly through Thursday) covers 2000 through 2007. Ah, the good ol’ days of Rihanna’s Umbrella . . . . 8 and 9 p.m., VH1
