Child taken by helicopter to hospital after Arlington wreck

ARLINGTON -- A 5-year-old was taken to Children's Medical Center in Dallas by helicopter ambulance late Thursday after a two-vehicle accident at Watson Road and Avenue K, according to authorities.

The child's father was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital, said Lt. Blake Miller, police spokesman. The accident was still under investigation late Thursday, Miller said.
